Twin screw pumps are rotary positive displacement screw rotor pumps capable of handling a wide variety of liquid media including very high viscosity liquids. Corrosive media can be conveyed by choosing the right material.
The twin-screw pump has strong self-priming ability and can deliver gas and liquid. There is no contact between the rotary elements conveying the medium, and between the rotary elements and the stator.
Twin-screw pumps are available in horizontal, vertical, and insulation jacket structures.
Benefits:
High pressure differential conveying capacity – involving the optimized design of drive shaft, driven shaft, spiral sleeve and mechanical seal assembly
Compact structure – short design of key components
Pressure resistance – the pressure of the pump body in the flow-passing part can reach 0.4MPa, and the mechanical seal is cartridge type, which is highly reliable against back pressure.
Reliable – Abrasion resistant screw material allows the pump to withstand occasional contact seizure due to solid particles
Pulseless delivery – the medium will not be agitated, squeezed and sheared during pumping
Easy maintenance – no need to disassemble bearing housings during sleeve replacement
Flexibility – it has a certain self-priming ability, and the pump speed can be changed to meet the needs of more working conditions
Low Vibration – Pump operates smoothly and without vibration, even with low inlet pressure, low viscosity media and high delivery pressure
Low noise – works virtually eliminates pressure fluctuations
Wide range of application – can convey high, medium and low viscosity materials
More optional functions – CIP online cleaning pipelines are allowed, and mechanical seals are equipped with optional functions such as lubrication, cooling, and self-flushing
